As part of the Hot Docs coverage over at In the Seats, I reviewed Shasha Nakhai’s wonderful film Take Light. The film takes a deep look into the electricity crisis in Nigeria. Despite producing key natural resources such as gas, over 50 percent of the population does not have access to electricity 24-hours as day. Some individuals go weeks without power.
