Over at POV Magazine, I reviewed the documentary Ni-Naadamaadiz: Red Power Rising which screened at TIFF. The documentary revisits the 1974 Ojibway Warriors occupation of Anicinabe Park which was a response to the violence and systemic racism towards the indigenous communities.
