On the most recent episode of Frameline, Barbara Goslawski and I dive into Radical Empathy: The Films of Agnès Varda retrospective screening at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Programmed by the editorial board of Cléo Journal, and running from March 22 to April 17, the series highlights the wonderfully diverse works of the legendary director. Over the course of the show we talk about several Varda films (Faces Places, Mur Murs, The Gleaners and I, Vagabond, Cléo from 5 to 7 and Documenteur) that we recommend you see at the retrospective.
