The Toronto International Film Festival starts on September 6th and it is already looking to be another stellar year. On the latest edition of Frameline, Barbara Goslawski and I spend some time highlighting several of the Canadian short films we think you should seek out playing in the Short Cuts Programme.
In this episode we offer up capsule reviews of Animal Behaviour; Emptying the Tank; Fauve; Exit; Dziadzio; Little Waves; Caroni; Circle; and Accidence. We also briefly discuss two Canadian feature length works playing TIFF, the documentary What is Democracy and the comedy Kingsway.
