Due to all the festival coverage last week, I forgot to mention that the latest episode of Changing Reels was released. In this episode we share our thoughts on the 1997 romantic comedy Love Jone, which was recently turned into a musical. The film looks at the ups and downs of relationships through the eyes of poet Darius (Larenz Tate) and photograph Nina (Nia Long). We also discuss our short film picks of the week: Miguel Arteta’s Are You the Favorite Person of Anybody? and Danny Sangra’s Odile et Michel.
Changing Reels is hosted by the fine folks at Modern Superior. You can also follow the podcast on twitter: @ChangingReelsAC. Lastly, please subscribe and rate our show on iTunes.
