All good things must come to an end (for now at least) as Can’t Stop the Movies’ retrospective on the films of Denis Villeneuve comes to a close. Though host Andrew Hathaway and I will reconvene to talk more Villeneuve when his new film Arrival opens in the fall, we close things out with a look at the director’s most recent work, Sicario . A tense thriller, that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats from beginning to end, Sicario offers a truly unique take on control and America’s war on drugs. You can give the episode a listen below to find out our thoughts on the film. If you happened to have missed any of the previous Villeneuve episodes, you are in luck, Andrew has compiled them all on one handy page.
