As TIFF quickly approaches, I opted to spend the Labour Day long weekend soaking up some quality time with family and friends instead of being immersed in cinema. It was a much needed battery recharge before the festival insanity commences. Though our TIFF coverage will begin shortly, I thought it was time to have a little fun, and test your film knowledge in the process, with the September edition of I Have Scene It Before. Last month you successfully identified all 21 films. Here is this month’s selection of film scenes. How many can you identify?

4 Forrest Gump
8 Rocky
17 Iron Man Rise of Technovore?
#17 is wrong, the other two are correct.
I feel like I’m using the same line of reasoning as last month, but Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher?
Nope. I still need to see that Black Widow/Punisher film in fact. Will have to see if it is on Netflix once TIFF is over.
Ok, last guess. I thought that was Tony Stark, but maybe it’s Doctor Strange?
Correct. You got caught focusing on the goatee, when the clue was the gray in his hair.
On a side note, that is easily one of my least favourite animated Marvel films.
1. Shawshank Redemption?
3. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
14. Phantoms?
16. Pumping Iron
19. Left Behind?
20. Last Night?
#20 is wrong, but the rest are correct.
15. Irreversible.

#15 is correct. #6 is wrong

The rest are correct.
I think #7 is For a Few Dollars More
I’m guessing that #9 is Smila’s Sense of Snow & #14 is Going All the Way
#7 and #9 are correct. #14 is wrong.
School Ties? I think it’s a period film and something from the 1990s based on his hair.
1. Shawshank
11. Don Jon
14. Reindeer Games.
