Talking 1987 Oscars on The Dew Over

1987 was a big year for genre films, but you would not know it by looking at the Best Picture nominees. I returned to the panel of the great Oscar loving podcast The Dew Over to debate whether or not The Last Emperor was indeed the best picture of that year. Though I unknowingly violated the first rule of podcasting, by not speaking directly into the microphone, the episode is still one you should give a listen. During the panel discussion I express my conflicted feelings about Hope and Glory, talk about experiencing both Broadcast News and Moonstruck for the first time, and weigh the pros and cons of both Fatal Attraction and The Last Emperor.
