Keeping with the theme of karma in the works of director Philip Sansom, today’s short film is One Man’s Loss. It is a tale of how a homeless man’s fortune changes in the most unexpected way when he steps on a piece of glass outside an arguing couple’s apartment. While not as visually inventive as Sansom’s short The Black Hole, his sly wit is still at the forefront. Having made three short films now, it will be interesting to see what Sansom comes up with if he ever branches out into feature length territory.
