Wow, 1941 was one of the ones I was sure of. I could swear that Nancy Allen looks up at the plane exactly like that. I see from a later answer that it’s Dressed to Kill.

No, it’s Sanjuro. It’s been a while since I’ve seen some samurai films by Kurosawa w/ Toshiro Mifune.
